SCOUT (GREAT Scholarships for Outstanding Undergraduate Talent in Tamil Nadu)

The SCOUT (GREAT Scholarships for Outstanding Undergraduate Talent in Tamil Nadu) program is a collaborative initiative by the British Council and the Government of Tamil Nadu aimed at providing international exposure to 100 talented undergraduate students from Tamil Nadu. The program includes a 24-hour online course in advanced topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics, followed by a one-week residential program in the UK for the top 25 students.

Mandatory Courses

Naan Mudhalvan Mandatory Courses are curated learning modules introduced by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the Naan Mudhalvan skill development program. These courses are designed to equip students across engineering and other disciplines with essential industry-relevant skills that enhance employability and innovation capacity. Offered in collaboration with top institutions and industry partners, the mandatory courses cover areas such as communication skills, problem-solving, coding, emerging technologies, and soft skills.

Niral Thiruvizha

Niral Thiruvizha is a flagship innovation and skilling initiative launched under the Naan Mudhalvan scheme by the Government of Tamil Nadu, aimed at fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, and technical excellence among college students. The event provides a dynamic platform for students to showcase innovative solutions to real-world problems through hackathons and project challenges.
