The Department of Civil Engineering aims at offering students the opportunity to gain knowledge about and the necessary expertise and skills in the field of Civil Engineering. It is an exciting field and ever emerging with new technologies to change the face of the world, with concern for the common man’s welfare by being sensitive to the environment. The sanctioned seat strength of 60 students is utilized to the optimum, by giving the students the best of training with well established, modern laboratories and equipment in Surveying Laboratory, Soil Mechanics Laboratory, Concrete & Highway Engineering Laboratory, Environmental Engineering Laboratory, Strength of Materials Laboratory and Fluid Mechanics and Machinery Laboratory with efficient faculty. The faculty members are all well qualified and offer the best teaching inputs to their wards. Experts from the field are also invited to offer special lectures and talks on emerging trends to help students remain updated in the field. Our dream is to make the Civil Engineering graduates of the institution one of the best human resources in the field by grooming them to be knowledgeable, to possess excellent technical skills and human and professional values.
