The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Coimbatore Branch Office organized an industrial visit to ESSVEE Wires India Private Limited, Salem on 17th December 2025 for II and III Year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students of the Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri.
A total of 30 students and 3 faculty members participated in the visit and gained valuable insights into the various standards and manufacturing processes of wires followed in the industry.
The visit provided practical exposure and enhanced the students’ understanding of real-world industrial practices.
