We are proud to recognize our NPTEL Stars for their outstanding achievements in online learning through the SWAYAM–NPTEL platform. Their dedication, consistency, and commitment to enhancing their knowledge beyond the classroom reflect a strong spirit of self-learning and academic excellence. By successfully completing certification courses in various domains, these students have demonstrated their technical competence and willingness to stay ahead in a competitive world. We congratulate all the achievers and encourage more students to follow their path of continuous learning and skill development.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Coimbatore Branch Office organized an industrial visit to ESSVEE Wires India Private Limited, Salem on 17th December 2025 for II and III Year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students of the Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri. 

A total of 30 students and 3 faculty members participated in the visit and gained valuable insights into the various standards and manufacturing processes of wires followed in the industry.

The visit provided practical exposure and enhanced the students’ understanding of real-world industrial practices. 

We are pleased to share that SAHA’26 Symposium was successfully conducted on 26th March 2026 at the Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri. 

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and served as a platform for showcasing knowledge, innovation, and collaborative learning.

We express our sincere gratitude to all faculty members, coordinators, and participants for their valuable contribution in making the event a great success. 

We are excited to share the successful inauguration of the Rhythm Raga Music Club, held on 18th March 2026 at the Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri. 

This initiative marks the beginning of a vibrant platform dedicated to nurturing musical talent and creativity among students.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our respected Principal, Vice Principal, coordinator, and student coordinators for their valuable support and efforts in making the event a grand success.
