The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a three-day workshop on “Advanced Embedded Systems and IoT Design” from 29–31 December 2025. The workshop was conducted by Mr. S. Karthikeyan and Mr. B. Arun Vijayakumar from eDigiM Research Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, with the participation of 42 students.
The program provided hands-on training in embedded systems, Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, sensor interfacing, cloud connectivity, and IoT application development. Students gained practical experience in designing and implementing smart IoT solutions through interactive sessions and mini projects.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a three-day workshop on “IoT Complete Design Flow” from 08–10 December 2025. The workshop was conducted by Dr. G. Dinesh, MESTER-GEN Technologies, Chennai, and witnessed the participation of 51 students.
The program provided hands-on training in IoT architecture, ESP32 development, sensor integration, cloud connectivity, wireless communication, and IoT security. Through practical sessions and interactive activities, students gained valuable experience in designing, developing, and deploying real-world IoT applications.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully organized Project Expo 2025 on 26 September 2025. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their innovative projects and technical skills in areas such as IoT, Embedded Systems, Communication Systems, Robotics, and Automation. A total of 57 students participated in the expo.
The event encouraged creativity, teamwork, and practical problem-solving while enabling students to demonstrate real-world applications of engineering concepts. The Project Expo served as an excellent opportunity for students to present their ideas and receive valuable feedback from faculty members and judges.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a six-day hands-on training program on “System Verilog Verification and Analog IC Design” from 18–23 August 2025. The workshop was conducted by Mr. B. Arivazhagan and Mr. S. Vasantharajan, Design Verification Engineers, eDigiM Research Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. A total of 80 students participated in the program.
The training provided practical exposure to System Verilog-based digital verification, Analog IC design, mixed-signal simulation, and VLSI design methodologies, helping students enhance their industry-relevant skills in semiconductor and hardware design technologies.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering inaugurated the Association of Electronics and Communication Engineers (AECE) on 22 August 2025. The event was graced by Dr. R. Dhanagopal, CEO, Edigim Research Pvt. Ltd., as the Chief Guest. The inauguration marked the commencement of various technical, innovative, and student development activities for the academic year 2025–26. Students were inspired by the expert talk on emerging trends in electronics and communication technologies.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a five-day workshop on “Industrial Power System Analysis Using Modern Simulation Tool ETAP” from 13–17 October 2025. The workshop was handled by Mr. Syed Riyash, Lead Engineer, and Mr. Gokul Raj P, Power System Engineer, Power Projects, Kodavai, Tiruppur.
A total of 58 students participated in the program and gained hands-on experience in load flow analysis, transformer simulation, reactive power compensation, VFD simulation, and industrial power system design using ETAP software. The workshop enhanced students' practical knowledge and simulation skills required for modern power system engineering applications.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a two-day workshop on “Future Trends in Electric Vehicle Technology” on 10–11 September 2025. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Prasanthkumar Palani, Chief Technical Consultant, Haritha Mobility Solutions, Tiruppur. A total of 58 students participated in the program.
The sessions covered EV components, battery management systems, charging technologies, safety standards, government initiatives, and career opportunities in the EV sector. The workshop provided valuable industry insights and practical exposure, enhancing students' knowledge and skills in Electric Vehicle Technology.
