We are proud to share that the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri, successfully organized ELECTROX’26, a National Level Technical Symposium, on 12th February 2026. 

The event witnessed active participation and served as a platform for students to showcase their technical knowledge, innovation, and skills.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their valuable presence and support in making the event a grand success. 

We are proud to share that the Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri successfully conducted the Educational Scholarship Distribution Event 2025–26 on 11th February 2026. 

A total scholarship amount of ₹2,50,000 was awarded to 25 deserving students, and an Endowment Fund of ₹1,00,000 was also established during the event.

We are delighted to congratulate Mr. Nirmalkumar S, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri, on receiving the SWAYAM–NPTEL Brand Ambassador Recognition for his outstanding contribution as SPOC during Jul–Dec 2025.

This recognition highlights his instrumental role in strengthening the SWAYAM–NPTEL Local Chapter and actively promoting online learning initiatives.

We are happy to share that the Civil Engineering research project by Dr. S. Sathyapriya and Mr. M. Gowthaman of the Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri has been selected under the Chief Minister’s Research Grant (CMRG) 2025–26 by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, with a sanctioned amount of ₹14.85 lakhs.

We are proud to share that Ms. Hazeera S, a final-year student of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Government College of Engineering, Dharmapuri, has secured an opportunity to pursue an International Internship at Pusan National University, South Korea, under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme.

The programme highlighted the importance of legal awareness, institutional responsibility, and community engagement.
